I've been able to pass my practical driving test and got my driving licence in a short period of time thanks to CDA and my instructor Elnara. UK's rules are different than my own country, so I needed some practice to get used to it, so I got many lessons from my instructor Elnara. She's been amazing throughout the process. I learned so much from her in short amount of time. She's also been really understanding and encouraging for me. I definitely recommend CDA as a driving academy and Elnara as an instructor.

I had been driving a year with my international license here in uk and when it was time to get the official UK licence, i didn't feel like getting any professional training since i felt comfortable with my skills. But iam glad I went against my initial judgement. Safi is one of the finest instructors in Cambridge and iam pretty sure I wouldn't have passed the test in my first try if it was not for his classes.
He's a genuine guy who's really committed to his students.

I just passed my test today with 3 minors. A huge thank you to my instructor Reza. He is an excellent instructor who always tries to give me the confidence and has an effective teaching approach. I started learning to drive with Reza in 2022 but I moved out of Cambridge so had to change instructor before my first test. I struggled with my tests during time and have had multiple attempts without passing. I decided to come back and take a few more lessons with Reza and took my test in Cambridge. I am so excited that I passed in the end. I would definitely recommend Reza.I’d also mention that it’s very easy and flexible to book lessons with CDA

No, you do not need to pass the Theory test before taking driving lessons. Most learner drivers prefer to have the theory test passed and done with as soon as possible, but combining theory test study and learning to drive can be hugely beneficial and increase your chances of passing the theory test first time.

CDA's pass rate as a school exceeded 66% in 2022 whereas the UK national pass rate is approximately 43%, which puts CDA in the top 10% for driving schools.

Yes, CDA has female driving instructors.

You can apply for a provisional driving licence when you’re 15 years and 9 months old. You can start driving a car when you’re 17. You can drive a car when you are 16 if you get, or have applied for, the enhanced rate of the mobility component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP).

It is entirely up to you. The more lessons you take the quicker you will learn and the more money you will save. Continuity of driving lessons is really important.

Driving is a skill and some people learn quicker than others. Currently the DVSA states that on average a person requires approximately 44 hours of professional lessons combined with approximately 22 hours of private practice. Your instructor will monitor your progress at the end of each lesson using a progress chart and from this you will be able to assess how near the test standard you are.
